This is Coach Vincent's first year at Oak Mountain High School, where he currently serves as the freshman assistant coach linebackers and offensive line - and as assistant varsity wrestling coach. He previously served as defensive coordinator at Dade County High School in Trenton, GA for one year (20052006), and head wrestling coach (2004-2005) at Fort Payne High School (linebackers and running backs). From 2001-2004 he coached the linbackers and was the special teams coordinator at Ashville High School, and was the defensive coordinator from 1998-2001 at Section High School. Coach Vincent was born in Fort Payne, AL and attended Fort Payne High School (1991) and the graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S. in 1998, and a masters degree in 2005. He has been an educator for eight years, teaching social sciences, U.S. and world history. He is married to Meredith Vincent who teaches English at Gresham Middle School.
