Coach Shane Gallman has been a member of the Oak Mountain High School family for seven years. He was born in Gadsden, Alabama and attended Sardis High School. After graduating from Sardis, Coach Gallman attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in secondary education with an emphasis in social science. He also attended the University of Montevallo where he recently completed his master's degree in educational administration. Coach Gallman began coaching at Chelsea High School in 1998. He served as an assistant varsity football and assistant varsity basketball coach. In 1999, Coach Gallman joined the Oak Mountain High School staff in its inaugural season. While at Oak Mountain, he has served as an assistant varsity football coach, assistant varsity softball coach, and head junior varsity girls' basketball coach. Currently, Coach Gallman is serving as the receivers' coach and assistant varsity softball coach. Coach Gallman is married to the former Yvonne Cline of Gadsden. They have been married for 16 years and have two daughters, Sarah, 8 and Kayla, 4. Coach Gallman has been an educator for seven years and currently teaches history at Oak Mountain. He currently resides in the Helena community.
