Coach Chris Forrest has been a member of the Oak Mountain High School family for three years. He was born in Florence, Alabama and attended Coffee High School. After graduating from Coffee, he attended the University of North Alabama where he completed his studies at the University of Montevallo where he obtained a master's degree in education. Coach Forrest began coaching at Bibb County High School in 1985. While at Bibb County for 18 years, he served as the head varsity volleyball coach, head golf coach, head football coach, and athletic director. While serving as athletic director, Bibb County went on to win a state championship in baseball. In 2003, Coach Forrest joined the Oak Mountain High School staff. Since working at Oak Mountain, he has served as an assistant varsity football coach, assistant wrestling coach, and assistant varsity baseball coach. Currently, Coach Forrest is the offensive line coach and and assistant varsity baseball coach. Coach Forrest is married to the former Barbara Leibecki of Rogersville. They have been married for 24 years and have two sons, JC, 14 and Mickey Todd, 9. Coach Forrest has been an educator for 24 years and currently teaches history at Oak Mountain. He currently resides in the Oak Mountain community.
