Coach Chris Dean has been a member of the Oak Mountain High School family for two years. He was born in Fairhope, Alabama and attended Fairhope High School. After graduating from Fairhope, he attended the University of Alabama before transferring to the University of Montevallo. At Montevallo, he completed his studies and graduated with a bachelor's degree in social science. Coach Dean continued his education at Montevallo where he also graduated with a master's degree in secondary education. While at Oak Mountain, he will serve as a 9th grade assistant football coach and the head varsity wrestling coach. Coach Dean is married to former Kristen Scarborough from Birmingham. They have been married for one year and have a son, Jake, 3 months. Coach Dean has been an educator for two years and currently teaches United States history at Oak Mountain. He currently resides in the Inverness community.
