Coach Pledger named ALFCA 6A Assistant Coach of The Year
 

Oak Mountain Defensive Coordinator, John Pledger, was named 6A Assistant Coach of the Year by the Alabama Football Coaches Association. Coach Pledger led one of the best defenses in Oak Mountain history all the way to the 6A semi-finals. Respected by his peers across the state as a fine defensive backs coach and defensive coordinator, Coach Pledger displays a great work ethic and knowledge of the game. Coach Pledger was also a featured speaker at the first annual ALFCA convention, sharing information with coaches from around the state.
